Marson Energy provides sales and service for the popular Guardian line of generators by Generac Power Systems. Guardian makes the most widely used line of automatic natural gas or propane backup generators for home or business, and two gasoline-fueled portable models.

These pages reflect the 2008 Guardian product line up as of April 2008. Generac has completely redesigned their Air-Cooled generators for 2008, featuring more power and a new, more attractive enclosure. Guardian models operate on natural gas with low pressure of only 5-7 inches of water column. This allows you to use low pressure gas already entering your home without the added expense and delay of a supply pressure increase.

Air Cooled Models

Guardian's air-cooled generator line is America's most popular and most economical choice for home backup power. When combined with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), these systems will automatically provide power for your home in a utility outage.

All Generac Guardian automatic home standby generators require natural gas pressure of 5-7 inches of water or LP vapor pressure of 11-14 inches of water column.

Guardian Air Cooled Natural Gas / LP

All Guardian products now include a three year warranty from Generac (Two years parts and labor, one year parts coverage) and are UL Listed 2200.

Guardian Packaged Systems with Air Cooled generators - Natural Gas / LP

Guardian packaged systems include a Guardian air-cooled generator and a 100 amp load center-type transfer switch with pre-wired conduits. Packaged generators offer the same features found in in Guardian air cooled machines, in a complete, ready-to-install package. Guardian generators are shipped mounted to a composite pad, and pre-wired to an 8, 10 or 12 circuit selective transfer switch. The package includes pre-wired conduit to connect generator to transfer switch and transfer switch to your home's distribution panel.

All Guardian products include a two year warranty from Generac covering parts and labor and are UL Listed 2200.

Guardian Ultrasource (gasoline)

Guardian Ultrasource Home Standby GeneratorUltra source generators offer the power and reliability of Generac's OHVI engine in a portable unit. Ultra Source generators are suitable for use in construction, remote locations, and for emergencies. They offer high continuous and surge power in a portable package. Current models include an electronic governor and idle speed control. Model 4583 also includes a 50 amp manual transfer switch, suitable for installation in your home or office.

Ultra source generators feature electric start, GFCI duplex and 50 amp full power outlets, and a 18 gallon fuel tank. All Guardian generators include a two year warranty from Generac covering parts and labor and are UL Listed 2200.
