Generac - America's most popular generator

Marson Energy provides sales and service for the a complete line of generators by Generac Power Systems. Generac makes the most widely used line of automatic natural gas or propane backup generators for home or businesses. Generac also produced gasoline-fueled portable generators and commercial diesel systems.

These pages reflect the 2009-2010 Generac product line up as of March 2010. Standby generator models under 60 kW operate on natural gas with low pressure of only 5-7 inches of water column. This allows you to use low pressure gas already entering your home without the added expense and delay of a supply pressure increase.

Air Cooled Models

Generac's air-cooled generator line is America's most popular and most economical choice for home backup power. When combined with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), these systems will automatically provide power for your home in a utility outage.

All Generac Guardian series automatic home standby generators require natural gas pressure of 5-7 inches of water or LP vapor pressure of 11-14 inches of water column.

Guardian Series Air Cooled Natural Gas / LP

Generac's air cooled generators offer the most affordable, most powerful home standby generator on the market. These generators are available with ratings from 8 to 20 kW and can be installed with any Generac RTS automatic transfer switch for automatic operation. Air cooled Guardian generators are shipped mounted to a composite pad to simplify installation without the need to pour concrete. Generac's air cooled generators are the most popular automatic backup generator sold today. Automatic transfer switches - to power part or all of your home - are sold separately.

All Generac air cooled products now include a three year warranty Two years parts and labor, one year parts coverage) and are UL Listed 2200.

Generac Pre-Packaged Systems with Air Cooled generators - Natural Gas / LP

Generac Guardian series packaged systems include an air-cooled generator and a 100 amp load center-type automatic transfer switch. Packaged generators offer the same features found in in Generac air cooled machines, in a complete, ready-to-install package. Generac air-cooled generators are shipped mounted to a composite pad, and pre-wired to a load cneter transfer switch. The package includes pre-wired conduit to connect generator to transfer switch and transfer switch to your home's distribution panel.

All Generac air cooled products include a three year warranty Two years parts and labor, one year parts coverage) and are UL Listed 2200.

Generac now offers premium air cooled generators in 17 kw and 20 kW sizes, the most powerful in the industry. These generators combine the proven OHVI engine with an electronic governor and an aluminum or steel weatherproof enclosure to make a unique high-power product. Each includes Generac's exclusive Whisper-Test feature, which exercises the generator weekly at lower engine speed for lower noise. Available as generator only (to be paired with a RTS Automatic Transfer Switch - sold separately) or as a packaged unit with a load center transfer switch included. Shown with optional lower fascia trim.
